HAMILTON - Cecelia E. Needles, 72, of Hamilton passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Valley View Estates. She was born in Lolo, MT on December 23, 1938 the daughter of Nicholas and Matilda Meckler. Cecelia was the only child out of 8 born at home.
Cecelia attended the school of hard knocks (ha ha). She married Glynn Kegley of Glendive and they had 2 boys, Glynn and Randy. Cecelia then married Ronald Needles of Victor and they had a daughter, Ronda. Cecelia and Ronald raised their 3 children in Montana. She was a house wife and mother and took care of all she could while Ron drove truck. Cecelia's mother lived with the family until she passed away in 1989.
Cecelia took care of her brothers and sisters while they were growing up. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and canning. She was a wonderful mother, wife, friend and home maker.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Don and Steve; her sister, Frances; her nieces, Paulette Teague and Leslie Meckler and her sister-in-law, Joyce Meckler. She is survived by her 3 children; Randy Needles of Hamilton, Glynn (Audrey) Needles of Hamilton and Ronda Needles (Val Grenfell ) of Hamilton; ex-husband, Ronald Needles of Victor; brothers, Richard Meckler of Condon, Frank (Terry) Meckler of Helena, Kenny (Kris) Meckler of Puyallup, WA and Antonio Meckler of Great Falls; grandchildren, Kayla Needles of Walla Walla, WA, Shelby Needles of Hamilton, and Josh and Lindzee Grenfell of Hamilton; 1 great-granddaughter, Kennidi Nicole Cooper; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family suggests that memorial be made in Cecelia's name to Partner's Hospice.
