Charles Lockhart, 80 of Hamilton passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
He was born May 28, 1931 in Eureka, California son of the late Thomas and Mulvena Lockhart.
Chuck was raised in California and worked for Dart Transportation driving truck.
On July 26, 1952 he married Marcella Veum and lived in Fremont, California till he retired and moved to Montana with his family in 1986.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Collier, Nelda, Theo, Tilden, Betty and Everet.
Chuck is survived by his wife Marcella; sons, Larry and wife Bobbi, Jerry and wife Kelly; daughter, Lorraine and husband Jim Andrusky; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Ramona Moore and Veda Kingsley; brother, Lee Lockhart; many nieces and nephews.
Chuck enjoyed family, hunting, fishing, camping, riding his 4-wheeler and going to the House of Praise Worship Center. He loved the Lord and loved life.
Pallbearers are Larry Lockhart Sr., Larry Lockhart Jr., Jerry Lockhart, Jesse Andrusky, Nathan Andrusky and Jeret Lockhart.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 8th at the Daly-Leach Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Daly-Leach Chapel with Pastor Jim Andrusky officiating. Interment will take place at the Corvallis Cemetery.
