Charles "Pat" Patterson

HAMILTON - Charles (Pat) Patterson, 86 of Hamilton was called home to be with his Lord Monday, November 21, 2011, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. He was born to Harold Alexander and Ethel Mae Patterson on November 14, 1925 in Hannibal, Missouri.

Pat was raised in Shelbina, Missouri, and joined the Navy in June of 1943. He served in WWII until the war's end and, the remainder of his military life was served in San Francisco where he received and honorable discharge in March 1947. He met and married Andrea Gonzalez Patterson, Sept 27, 1946, his wife of 62 years in San Francisco. Pat and Andrea moved to Montana in 1950 where they lived and raised their family, moving to Hamilton in 1985.

Andrea was called home April 17, 2008. He is survived by his seven children: Barbara Prostrollo, Hamilton, Brenda and Lloyd Eschenbacher, Hamilton, Norma and Steve Pfaff, Idaho, Andrea Patterson, Spokane, Donald and Karen Patterson, Hamilton, Jeff and Darlene Patterson, Turah and Diane and Rick Traeger, Glasgow, Mt. Thirteen grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Harold and Muriel Patterson, Rosebud, Mt and Joseph and Judy Patterson of Aurora, Colorado as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
