March 15, 1945 — March 11, 2016

Shoreline, WA - Charlotte Diane Fullerton, 70, passed away at her home in Shoreline, Washington, on March 11, 2016, after an eight-year struggle with Lewey Body disease (which shows symptoms of both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease).

Charlotte was born March 15, 1945, the daughter of the late David and Clara Leicht.  The oldest of four girls, Charlotte was raised on her parents farm in Corvallis, Montana.  The farm was a family affair and everyone participated in the production of apples, raspberries, strawberries, chickens, cattle, and all other farm animals common at the time.  Charlotte was taught a strong work ethic at a very young age; she was an excellent student and graduated as salutatorian of Corvallis High school.  She attended the University of Montana graduating with honors earning a bachelor's degree in home economics.  After graduation she taught home economics at high schools in Deer lodge and Stevensville Montana.

She married her former husband Dennis "Butch" Fullerton and lived in Hamilton for a number of years working in the office of their local business, Fullerton Plumbing and Heating before moving to Moscow, ID after closing their business.

While raising sons Andrew and Bryan, she earned a master's degree in family and consumer science from the University of Idaho, while working for the Idaho Geological Survey at the University of Idaho where she retired.

Charlotte loved riding her bike and gardening but her greatest love was for her family.

She is survived by her sons, Andrew of Moscow, ID and Bryan (Katherine) of Seattle, WA;  sisters, Kathy (Rich) Sylvester of Hillsboro, OR., Joanie (Dan) Huls of Corvallis, MT., Barbara (Terry) Miller Hamilton, MT; six grandchildren, three nephews and one niece.
