Cheryl R. Laipple

Cheryl R. Laipple, 66, Corvallis, MT, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 21st at St Patrick's Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.

Cheryl was born in Anaconda and after graduating high school she put herself through nursing school and began a long career of nursing in various capacities, including the Surgery Center in Missoula and at Community Medical Emergency Room. The last 25+ years Cheryl worked at long term care facilities, where she gave her heart and soul to her residents. Her residents, as well as her fellow nurses and healthcare workers were sad to see her retire last April.

Cheryl enjoyed working in her yard and feeding the birds and squirrels. She had a soft spot in her heart for all animals. During football season, an avid football fan, you'd find her cheering on her favorite pro-football team, the Denver Broncos, and of course our UM Grizzlies.

She is survived by her oldest son, Michael Kelly (Dawn) of NC, her youngest son, John Kelly (Tami) of Victor, and her sister Ellen Seiger (Greg) of Lolo, and 3 grandchildren, Raiden, Jezzika, and Tirzah, and many devoted friends.

Memorial services will be held Friday, March 1st at 3:00 p.m. at Daly"Leach Chapel, 1010 W. Main, Hamilton. Celebration of her life will follow the service.
