Christian “Chris” James Jones or as their family referred to them as “Buddy”, passed away less than two weeks after their 22nd birthday in their Missoula apartment. They were born June 13, 2002 in Hamilton Montana, the son of Caroline Adelle Smith and Brendan John Jones.
Christian was in their second year of college at the University of Montana pursuing a career to be a Software Engineer and dreamed of making video games one day. They also worked at T-mobile full time in Missoula. Christian loved gaming, building PC’s, anime, legos, and spending time with friends and family. They had weekly gaming with friends and were loved by many. They wanted the world to be a loving and inclusive place. Christian cared so deeply about others and always put everyone else’s needs before their own. Christian was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2022 and though they suffered and fought they excelled in school, work, and life despite their severe illness.
Christian is preceded in death by their Papa Ed and Uncle Timmy. Christian is survived by their mother Caroline and father Brendan. Siblings Tyson, Chelsea, Levi, Casea, Carrie and brother-in-laws Garrett and Ryne. Their nephew Teigan and niece Violet. Their grandmothers Joyce “Tutu” and Bonnie. Their uncle Joe and Aunts Joy, DeDe, and Cheryl.
A service is set for August 3rd and details will be announced on family’s social media. They would love for everyone to attend.
