Christopher Martin Chandler, 39 of Corvallis died Tuesday, August 13th at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
He was born in Madera, California in 1973. He went to be with the Lord and his angels that always watched over him. Even though he was a special needs young man, he brightened up everything and everyone he met. For a time he worked at Ravalli Services in the recycling area. He then worked in the main building sorting clothes and putting price tags on items, he really enjoyed that. But the best place he liked working was at the Daly School Kitchen. He was a dishwasher and was really proud of that. His family was really proud of him for all of his accomplishments.
Christopher had many serious surgeries throughout his lifetime and always had a good attitude and was always grateful to the doctors who made him better. Christopher also loved his cat Miss Kitty who passed away two years ago and yet he still mourned for her. He was a great cook book reader with a good collection of books. He also had a big collection of Disney DVD's. While he was growing up he participated in the Special Olympics where Christopher won 3 Gold Medals.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Joyce Ann and John Chandler; younger brother, Robert Chandler; aunt, Dee who always made him smile; uncle, Lance; cousins, Chrissy, Dusty, David, Colter and Brynn Paddock. He is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christopher will be greatly missed.
