Clarence "Clancy" Evans

October 29, 1920 — December 26, 2011

HAMILTON - Clarence Evans died at Marcus Daly Hospice on Monday, December 26th, 2011, at age 91.

Clancy was born in Deer Lodge, MT on October 29th, 1920 to Katherine and Roy Evans.

After growing up in Deer Lodge, Clancy joined the army in 1943 and served in Europe until 1946, during which time he received two bronze stars and a purple heart.

He spent most of his life as a salesman, living in Montana, California and Colorado.

Clancy is survived by his children, Sharon Garden of Helena, MT, Cathy Chamberlin of Longmont, CO, Cheryl (Tom) Perkins of Colorado Springs, CO, and Mike (Rose) Evans of Thompson Station, TN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Carolyn and Tabatha Townsend, Pat Tucker and Caroline Bull for their compassionate care and their efforts in making Clancy's last years so enjoyable.

A memorial Celebration of Clancy's life will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, January 16th at Daly Leach Memorial Chapel.
