MISSOULA - Clarence Lee Rye, 59, of Missoula, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Community Hospital on February 2nd, 2012.
Clarence enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and two grandsons, Ryelee and Joshua. Clarence was a life-long fan of the Minnesota Vikings, enjoyed watching most sports and was an accomplished cribbage player having won several tournaments. Clarence devoted himself by working for nearly 30 years at the lumber mills in both Missoula and Bonner. Traveling and taking road trips with his family brought hours of enjoyment to Clarence's life. Clarence crafted many of the "Tin Man" yard decorations throughout the Missoula area. It's a Wonderful Life was one of Clarence's all time favorite movies because of the angel, Clarence.
Clarence resided with his daughter, Cynthia and brother, Melvin. Clarence is also survived by Vicky, daughter Nicole, as well as brothers Wally (Vicki) and Newman, sisters Joyce, Loretta, Shirley, and Christina, and several nieces and nephews.
