Clifton "Cliff" O'Neal Walters

Clifton "Cliff" O'Neal Walters Jr. 94 of Darby passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at his home in Darby.

He was born in Southern California the son of Clifton O'Neal Walters Senior and Lena Musso Walters.

He enjoyed archery and was a California State Champion. He loved riding horses and also was good at training them. He loved riding motorcycles and weight lifting. He was a II CFI instructor with multiple ratings and continued instructing until his retirement at the age of 88.

He is survived by his wife Susan Smith Walters of 46 years. His sons, Cody (Linda) Walters, Cory Walters and Ryan Walters; grandchildren, Cindy (Chad) Des Jarlais, Clifton Walters, Colt (Drea) Walters, Casey (Kaz) Kacsmaryk; great grandchildren, Jeramiah Hudgeons, Victoria (Hunter) Garvin, Cevannah Walters, Camryne Walters, Carley Walters, Shelby Walters, Nathan Walters, Sierra Walters, and Cameron Kascsmaryk; great-great grandchildren, Layla Uriah,  Iva Garvin and Sylvie Hudgeons.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Joann Cathcart Hamner mother to Cody and Cory Walters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Private family interment will take place at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.
