Dale Thompson

Dale Evon Thompson, 56, of Grants, New Mexico went home to be with the Lord on December 28th, 2008. She was born on June 08, 1952 to Charles T. Smith and Mavis I. Danel at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Dale attended Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, California and graduated in 1970. On October 2, 1976 she married Eric Peter Thompson in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dale was truly loved and adored by many. She was a beautiful daughter, supportive sister, devoted wife, beloved mother and faithful friend. Her selfless love was seen through the eyes of those hearts that she touched. Dale served for many years in the Children's ministry and in various other capacities within her church. Her passion could be heard many a Sunday mornings echoing from the walls of Lenwood Community Church in Barstow, California as she sang the Lords praises. Though God has called her home to sing in His heavenly choir, her song will forever remain in our hearts.
A lifetime cannot simply be measured in years, rather it should be measured by the impact a person has on the lives of others.
Dale is survived by her Husband Eric of 32 years, daughters Shawna Knickerbocker and Erica Immormino, her mother Mavis Evans, sisters Terri Handley, Debbie Evans, Sam Hanson, Carol Sarantopulos and brother Dean Evans.
