CORVALLIS - Darryl Lee Tucker, 77, of Corvallis passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital. He was born November 23, 1935 in Rudiment, IL the son of Glenard and Evaline Tucker.
Darryl was raised and educated in Illinois and California. After high school he earned his Bachelor's Degree from the New Mexico School of Mines. Darryl then served in the United States Army before beginning his career as a mining engineer.
Darryl married Audrey L. Naylor on February 29, 1972 in Long Beach, CA. He became a plumbing contractor in Long Beach and eventually purchased his own plumbing company. Darryl became a plumbing inspector in Beverly Hills, CA in 1986. Darryl and Audrey moved to the Bitterroot Valley in 1990 and he continued as a plumbing inspector for the City of Missoula until retiring in 1998.
Darryl was a member of the Corvallis United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and photography. One of Darryl's greatest enjoyments was being a Scout Master in Long Beach for many years where he was admired by his Boy Scouts.
Darryl was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Tucker, of Corvallis; his daughter, Jeri DeBaca and husband Chuck of Missoula; his son, Bradley Williamson of Missoula; his grandson, Jason DeBaca and wife Mandi and their 2 children, Noah and Erika all of Seale, Alabama.
