David Thomas Connor

David Thomas Connor, 41, passed away at Marcus Daly Hospital Hospice Care in Hamilton on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 in the presence of his family.

He was born May 19, 1967, in Butte, MT to Kent and Mary Lou Connor. David was the youngest of three children. David resided with his family at Melrose MT until 1973 when he moved with his family to Corvallis, MT.

David was very active in 4-H and was a member for 10 years. He enjoyed showing his dairy cows each year at the Ravalli County Fair. David also enjoyed raising and showing Columbia sheep and his Belgian Draft Horses. David graduated from Corvallis High School in 1985 and then attended Montana State University, Bozeman, MT where he graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. He then moved to San Francisco where he lived with his brother until he was able to find employment and a place of his own. Over the years he lived in San Francisco he worked in a medical clinic, Wells Fargo Bank, and the offices of Charles Schwab. While in San Francisco David actively enjoyed bowling and playing softball. David left San Francisco in the summer of 2007 returning to Montana and then moving to Scottdale, GA. In April 2009 with the assistance of his brother Craig he returned to his parents place in Montana

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Tom and Lois Connor as well as his maternal grandparents Forrest and Hilma Lindlief.

He is survived by his parents Kent and Mary Lou Connor, and an Aunt Joan Marie Connor all of Corvallis. He is also survived by two brothers, Jeff Connor and his partner James Schultz of Mount Vernon, WA and Craig Connor and his partner Mark Bomze of Laguna Nigel, CA and a foster sister Kim (Greg) Barnes and family of Gig Harbor, WA. He will be missed by his special friends Brian Jones, Leo Liberty, Walt Vandernald, Jeff Parsons and Cheryl and Dennis all of San Francisco, CA, Mike Shurtleff of Scottdale, GA and Kent of Hawaii.

Services to celebrate David's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at Daly Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Interment will follow at Corvallis Cemetery. Following the graveside service a luncheon will be served at the Hamilton Assembly of God Church. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
