HAMILTON - David Lloyd Jackman was born in Minneapolis, MN, to Lloyd Leslie and Ethel Broberg Jackman, on July 30, 1942, and passed on March 11, 2022, in Hamilton, Montana after a short battle with cancer.
David was a remarkable man, with a dry sense of humor that could catch you off guard if you were watching and listening. While trying to act gruff and tuff, he was a teddy bear at heart, with a gentle soul. He was in the toy and game industry, which took him around the world. The association brought him many friends from across the US and Europe. He was a dad to his children, to his wife’s children, and to many who were “adopted” simply through love and friendship.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Jennifer Jiang. David is survived by his wife, Glenna N. Jackman; daughter, Lisa (Mike) Maciejewski; 2 grandsons, Michael Maciejewski and Ben Jiang, granddaughter, Jacqueline Jiang; stepchildren, Lisa Arnold and Eric Worley; sister Ruth Graf; nieces and Nephews, Paul, Sharon, Sue, and Dan; four great nephews, one great-great nephew, and a great niece.
At his request, there will be no formal services. Please make donations in his name to St. Patrick’s Cancer Center and Ravalli Council on Aging.
