David A. Trihey

November 20, 1955 — November 22, 2009

CORVALLIS - David Allen Trihey of Corvallis, MT passed away on Sunday November 22, 2009. He was born on November 20, 1955 in Decatur, IL. He grew up in Reno, NV.

Dave met his future wife, Debra, in the 6th grade. They began their dating relationship playing "kiss tag" in grade school, and have been together since. Their two hearts became one and they were married on March 22, 1975. Dave and Debra had their first child, David Bradley Trihey, that year. Two years later they had their first daughter, Amber Alane Keziah Trihey. In August of 1980 Dave and Debbie moved to the Bitterroot Valley and began their Montana lives. On October 19, 1983 Dave and Debbie had their son, Gabriel David Trihey. On May 15, 1985 the baby girl of the family was born, Bethany Mary Trihey.

Dave gave his heart to Christ when he was 17 years old. He and his wife committed theirs lives to ministry together in 1980.

Dave was always extremely involved in the Hamilton Assembly of God church. He poured his heart and soul into ministry through the Royal Rangers program reaching boys for Christ and teaching them how to be Godly men. He raised his family in the church and with God as his head.

Dave's greatest joy was seeing his wife smiling and laughing. He was driven by his love for his family. He was so proud of being dad. Dave absolutely loved hunting with his sons and teaching them everything he knew. He was constantly looking out for his daughters and loved wrestling and tickling them. Dave was a wonderful papa to 5 grandkids. He loved taking them for 4wheeler rides and playing. Anything that dad could do with his hands to help, he would jump at the opportunity. Camping with his wife and being in their boat together was his favorite place.

Dave is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debra Trihey; his son and his wife and two sons, Dave, Kimberly, Tayson and Cade Trihey; his daughter and her daughter, Amber and Rylian Trihey; son and his wife and daughter, Gabriel, C.J. and Kaeleigh; daughter and her son, Bethany and Justice Trihey; and his dear sister. Mary Donaldson and her family.

Dave is so loved and highly esteemed by us all.
