Delbert "Dell" Scott, Jr.

DARBY – Delbert “Dell” Scott, Jr., 84, of Darby passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at his home.  He was born October 27, 1934 in Fort Collins, CO the son of Delbert Sr. and Doris (Kennison) Scott.

Dell served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 until 1957.  He married Donna Murphy in Salmon, ID on February 13, 1975.  One of Dell’s greatest enjoyments was Blue Grass jams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a daughter.  Dell is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna, of Darby; 5 children, 2 step-children, and many grand and great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering of family and friends with full Military Honors will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Darby Clubhouse.  There will be an open mic and please bring your instruments to play a tune for Dell.  Please bring your favorite salad or dish for a pot-luck following.  Private family interment will take place at the Western Montana Veterans Cemetery.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
