Delores "Dee" Kober

March 27, 1942 — September 5, 2015

Delores (Dee) Sager, Willits, Kober passed away Saturday September 05, 2015.
Dee was born in Hamilton on March 27, 1942. She attended Corvallis grade school and high school, and continued her education at the University of Montana, where she graduated with honors. It was while she was at the University, that she met and later married Jim Willits. Dee taught High School at Hellgate in Missoula, and later, she and Jim, moved to Havre. Dee continued to teach High School for the next eight years. She spent five years as a statewide consultant for the State Department of Public Education, fourteen years with IBM as a Technical Systems Engineer, Customer Center Coordinator, and Education Industry Marketing Representative. Dee thrived in the IBM environment and her accomplishments thrived as well.
Dee loved antiques. While in Helena, she and her husband Jack Kober bought an antique store. Her home was full of antiques, and she knew the story about each piece. She loved music, and had quite a flare for playing the piano. Fingers flying and keys a clicking.
While Dee never had children of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews, as though they were her own. During her career, she touched the lives of so many students, and without a doubt, made a huge difference. She always was encouraging her nieces, nephews, and students to further their educations.
Dee's parents, Helen and Eddy Sager preceded her, as well as her nephew Benjamin Holt and Jack Kober. She leaves behind her sisters, Dorothy (Marshall) Holmberg, Peggy (Bill) Holt; her brother, Bob (Pam) Sager; nieces, Ann Marie Sager (Kris), Noel (Shawn) Jacobs; nephews, Erik Holmberg, Aaron (Jenn) Holmberg, Jason (Sierra) Holt.
Donations in Dee's memory can be made to an Animal Shelter of your choice.
