Dennis Earl Beard

Dennis Earl Beard, 69, of Hamilton passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016.  He was born September 8, 1946 in Williston, North Dakota, to Rodney E. and Patricia H. (Miller) Beard.

Denny was raised in Corvallis and attended the Corvallis Schools.  He belonged to the class of 1966.

In Denny's early years he helped out in his father's construction business and later worked for Ravalli Services for over 20 years.

Denny loved visiting with people, as he never met a stranger.  He had a fascination with electronics and was always eager to show off his latest gadgets.  He also enjoyed working in the yard, listening to music and watching scary movies.  However, Denny is best known for driving around town in his classic, a cherry red, Chevy pick-up truck.  He was proud to show it to anyone interested and he could always be seen giving it a "spit" shine before climbing into the driver's seat.

On Denny's behalf, the family would like to thank Ravalli Services and the staff of the group home where Denny resided for the years of care, support and friendship you gave Denny. Denny will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Denny was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother Pat, his sister Debbie Smith both of Hamilton, two nephews, three great-nephews and two great-nieces.

Cremation will be handled by Daly-Leach Chapel of Hamilton.  The family suggests that memorials be made to Ravalli Services.
