Donna Fay Avery

HAMILTON – Donna Fay Avery, 81, of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Discovery Care Centre.  She was born February 15, 1935 in Stevensville, MT the daughter of Kenneth S and Kathryn (McKinney) Avery.

Donna attended and graduated from Stevensville High School.  She then enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 1954, serving during the Korean Conflict.  Donna married Dorance Hason in 1976 and they later divorced.

Donna enjoyed crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles and flowers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Avery and Kathryn Wilson; her brother, Wayne L. Avery and her son, David Bridge on May 21, 2016.  Donna is survived by her son, Rick Gurley and wife Pam of Hamilton; sisters, Judy Mason and Audrey Mortensen and husband Wayne; granddaughter, Carly Hill and husband Mike; granddaughter, Markie Nelson and husband Shane; and 5 great-grandchildren.

At Donna’s request, no formal services will be held.
