Doris Holmes

CORVALLIS - On the morning of October 22, 2013, Doris Holmes passed away at home in Corvallis, MT with her loving husband by her side. Doris was 81 years old.

She was born May 16, 1932, in Mount Vernon, New York to Manuel and Maria Pinto.

Doris was a loving wife of 63 years to Glenn (Bud) Holmes Sr., cherished mother to Elizabeth (Liz) Greer and Glenn Holmes Jr. (deceased), and affectionately known as "Grams" to her many grandchildren. She loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, was a talented painter, devoted gardener, and spirited card player throughout her life.

Doris was survived by her husband, Bud Holmes of Corvallis; daughter, Liz Greer of Darby; as well as two brothers, one sister, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
