Dorothy Doris Ewalt, 90, of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center of natural causes. She was born November 14, 1922 in Ainsworth, NE the daughter of George H. and Mary (Hansen) Menter.
- Dorothy graduated from Dawson County High School. She married Samuel Clark Ewalt on April 21, 1942. Dorothy was a cook at the Head Start for 33 years retiring at the age of 80. She was a member of the Mountain View Wesleyan Church and was a Sunday School teacher for over 25 years. Dorothy enjoyed reading, music, gardening and visiting on the back porch.
- She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ewalt; her daughter, Frances Kay Graham; 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Dorothy is survived by 11 children; her sons, George Ewalt of Hamilton, Larry Ewalt of Hamilton, Samuel Ewalt of Kalispell, Terry Ewalt of McMinnville, OR, Peter Ewalt of Phoenix, AZ, and Randy Ewalt of Eagle Point, OR; her daughters, Linda Morlock of Missoula, Carol Ault of Salem, OR, Janie Bullock of Newberg, OR, Jo Ellen Collins of Hamilton and Susan Alberado of McMinnville, OR; 31 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
