Douglas Fred Chaffin

Douglas Fred Chaffin, 63, of Darby passed away August 4, 2012 after battling cancer.
Douglas moved from Hamilton to Washington in 1967 where he married Victoria J. Bailey. Together they had three children; Chad, Steven and Janet. He pursued a career in foundry work for sixteen years before returning to his birthplace in Hamilton. Upon his return he entered into the logging industry, finally retiring from contract work.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick H. Chaffin.
Douglas is survived by his mother, Mae; brothers, Clyde "Mike", Tom and Ron; sisters, Anna, Gail and Lynn; his children; grandchildren, Cory, Donovan, Rhiannon, Bailey, Stevie, Cameron and Conner; and great grandchildren, Erin and Hayden.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.
