Edna Margaret Florence Hawkyard Katek

HAMILTON - Into His loving arms. Edna Margaret Florence Hawkyard Katek died at Valley View Estates April 1, 2013 in Hamilton, Montana. She was born August 28, 1917 in Travers, Alberta and moved to Minnesota when she was three.

We thank Valley View's staff for her wonderful care over the years. She was especially fond of Patsy, Ruth and Doug and probably others unnamed. She loved her family; son, Richard Hawkyard (Priscilla); grandchildren, Barbara Hawkyard (Jim), Cynthia Sever (Bruce) and Renee Abboud (Bill); great-grandchildren, Nicolle Caballero (Jeremy), Alex Abboud, Matt Abboud and Kate Abboud; her great-great-grandchild, Makenzie Boren; her special nieces, Jackie Shumway (Rich), Janice Dominguez (Bob) and Paula Peters (Dale).

She was a marvelous homemaker and cook. No one could beat her frosted chocolate refrigerator cookies or her fattigman and Norwegian offerings at Christmas.

Her ashes have been blessed with interment being held at Grantsdale Cemetery in June when there will be a family gathering to celebrate her life and death. She is now at home with the Lord where she has wanted to be for a long time.
