HAMILTON - Emma L. Cleland, 97, of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center. She was born August 2, 1914 on her parent's farm in then rural Lacey, WA. Emma is the last of seven children.
She was raised and educated in Lacey. Emma married 3 times and was a devoted wife to her husbands, Andrew Ed Solander, Edgar Bruce York and Roger Cleland, whom all preceded her in death. Emma is survived by her son, George Solander and wife Mary; granddaughter, Joni Solander; great-grandson, Ronnie and his wife Emalee and their daughter, Bently; and many friends in Lacey, Missoula and Hamilton.
