Hamilton - On June 3, 1931, Eugene was born to Ludwig and Margaret Kolb at Date, SD. Eugene passed away on Nov. 25, 2013 at his home in Hamilton, MT.
Eugene lived part of his life on the farm at Bison, SD and in 1981 he sold the farm to his cousin. In Feb. of 1982, he moved to Hamilton, Montana and lived there until his death. -
Eugene is survived by his brother, Roderick (Sandra) Friese of Buckley, WA; Sisters-in-law, Dixie Friese of Buckley, WA and Jean Friese of Bell Fourshe, SD. He is also survived by his cousin, George Ketterling of Spearfish, SD., many more cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Jr. and Gary Friese and a sister, Anita Chaffin.
He will be interred at the Date Cemetery in Bison, SD. at a later date.
