Eva Mae Christofferson

Eva Mae Christofferson, 90, passed away peacefully from natural causes on Friday, May21, 2010 at her home in Hamilton, MT. She was born January 18, 1920 in Somers, MT to the late Howard and Olevia Trusty.

Eva was married to Ted Christofferson on July 29, 1942. The couple was married 62 years. In those years, they enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time at their cabin on Bitterroot Lake with their family.

Eva was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed reading, playing cards, and socializing with her many friends and family members.

Eva is preceded in death by her son, David Christofferson, and her husband and best friend, Ted Christofferson.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Gosney of Kalispell, MT; granddaughters Sonja Cawood of Kalispell, MT, Amber Looney of Meridian, ID, and Tiffany Gosney of Missoula, MT, along with her precious companion, her daschund, Heidi. Eva had one great-grandson, and three great-granddaughters.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Aspen Hospice of Montana, 230 Marcus St., Hamilton, MT 59840.
