Evelyn (Oreskovich) Stauffer

Evelyn Stauffer, aged 95, of Hamilton, Montana, departed this life on September 29, 2023. Born on March 20, 1928, Evelyn spent her days caring for others, both in her personal life and through her professional career as a Nurses Aide in local nursing homes. A dedicated worker, Evelyn's patient, empathetic nature and nurturing spirit were a beacon of comfort to those in her care. Her life was a living embodiment of the quote by Maya Angelou, "As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients, their families and ourselves. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel."

Evelyn was a woman of strength and resilience, a trait she carried through her life, weathering the storms of life with grace and a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. She continued to love unconditionally, devoting herself to her family and finding solace in the bonds she nurtured with her daughters Mary Clark and Betty Jo Kile.

Evelyn now joins her parents, Thomas Oreskovich and Mary Drakich, who predeceased her. The heartache of losing Evelyn is softened by the comforting thought of her reuniting with her beloved parents, as per the saying, "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."
