Fern B. Todd

HAMILTON - Fern B. Todd, 86, of Hamilton passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 at her home with family and friends around her. She was born June 14, 1925 in Van Hook, ND the daughter of Adolf and Clara Sorenson.

Fern married Lyle Sanderson in January of 1946. They farmed in New Town, ND until June of 1966 when they moved to Hamilton. Fern worked various jobs in Hamilton until she retired.

She was grandma Fern to many. Fern was loving, kind and caring. Her home was always open to all and she never turned anyone away.

Fern was preceded in death by her son, Kerry Sanderson and 4 brothers, Bubs, Norman, Babe and LaVern Sanderson. She is survived by 3 children, Bruce (Kathy) Sanderson of New Town, ND, Trudy Reavely of Hamilton, and Jamie (Bonnie) Sanderson of Hamilton; grandchildren, Trina (Brian) Holt of Sydney, MT, Brad Sanderson of New Town, ND; Holli (Steve) Shannon of Anchorage, AK, Duel (Margie) Vegoren of Darby, MT, Matt (Nicole) Vegoren of Hamilton, Tony (Meagan) Sanderson of Kansas and Jesse Sanderson of Stites, ID; 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
