Forrest A. Hughes

HAMILTON - Forrest A. Hughes, JR, 87, of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center. He was born May 16, 1922 in Childress, TX the son of Forrest A. and Gladys (Dwight) Hughes.
Forrest received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He married Carrie Sue Howard on May 15, 1947 and they remained together until she passed away in 2001. Forrest was an Aeronautical Engineer for Lockhead Martin in the missiles and space division. He was a member of the computer club and the Hamilton Golf Club.
Forrest was preceded in death by his wife Carrie Sue Hughes; his brother, Dwight Hughes; and his parents. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sydney and Bob Hazeltine of Hamilton; his granddaughters, Cami McCollam and husband Matt of Kalispell and Kelsey Chapman and husband Jack of Hamilton; his great-grandchildren, Caden, Cole, Kyle, Cassidey and Mylie McCollam and Tegan and Trace Chapman of Hamilton.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Forrest's name to the Marcus Daly Hospice Endowment Fund, 1200 Westwood Dr., Hamilton, MT 59840.
