CORVALLIS – Fred Huntington, 81, of Corvallis passed away at his home in Corvallis on August 17, 2016 due to complications of cancer.
He was a general engineering contractor in Napa, CA for 40 years. Fred is a 50 year member of the Operating Engineers Local 3, the Good Sam Club of Hamilton, MT and a member of the Hellgate Corvette Club of Missoula, MT.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara, of Corvallis; his daughters, Deborah Newell, and Donna Carl and husband Kevin of Penn Valley, CA; son, Jim Huntington and wife Gail of Beatty, OR; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
As Fred requested, graveside services will be held at the Corvallis Cemetery on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mick Gray officiating. There will be a reception following the services held at the family home at 607 Wilcox Lane in Corvallis.
The family requests memorials be made to the Montana Home Health and Hospice of Missoula (3301 Great Northern Ave., Missoula, MT 59801) or to the American Cancer Society.
