Frieda E. Robert

HAMILTON - Frieda E. Roberts, 83, of Hamilton passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center. She was born August 5, 1928 in Glen Ullin, ND the daughter of Fred R. and Pauline (Wagner) Permann.
Frieda was raised and educated in Glen Ullin, graduating from high school in 1946. She married Patrick Callahan in July of 1946 and they later divorced. She then married Russell Roberts in Hamilton in 1963. Frieda enjoyed bowling and shuffleboard and she also loved to gamble.

Frieda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Roberts; her sister, Viola Specht; her brother, Richard Permann; and her step-son, Rick Roberts. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sheila Chaffin and husband Tom of Hamilton and Patricia Gray of Portland; 4 step-children, Barry, Doug, Kim and Leanne; her sister, Lillian Wanstrath and husband Winston of Darby; her brother, Bob Permann and wife Teddy of Pasco, WA; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
