HAMILTON - G. L. (Lynn) Wyche, a Member of America's Greatest Generation, crossed over the fence to a better range on Sept 22, 2012. Lynn was a Cowboy, Soldier, Horse Trainer, Outdoors-man, Loving Husband, Father and Friend.
Lynn was born to Rio and Elzie Wyche in Stephenville, Texas, Dec. 27, 1923. At his Country's call, Lynn served as a Sgt. in the Combat Engineers in Europe.
After WWII, Lynn spent many years as a ranch manager and horse trainer, being three times World Champion Arabian Cutting Horse Trainer. Lynn went on to become an N.C.H.A. and A.H.S.A. judge. He was also an accomplished welder and an excellent fisherman.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. He is survived by one sister, Lola Mae West, of Pecos, TX, and the Light of his Life, his wife of 37 years, Sharon Wyche, of Hamilton, Mont., along with step-daughter Kimberly Dornan, of Hamilton, and step-son Vince Licata of Mission Viejo, Calif.
Lynn is also survived by sons, Ronnie, of Chelsea, OK, James D., of San Angelo, TX. and daughters Judy Vanderveer, of Santa Fe, NM. and Gal Wyche Kuykendall, of Elgin, TX., as well as 6 grandchildren, 5 greatA
