Gail "Franke" Korman

LOLO - Gail M. "Franke" Korman, 69, of Lolo passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 at Community Medical Center in Missoula. She was born December 14, 1939 in Philipsburg, MT the daughter of John M. and Lillian Franke.
- Franke was raised and educated in Hamilton. She attended the University of Montana from 1958 until 1962, earning her Bachelors degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She marred Donald W. Korman on April 4, 1962 in Idaho.
Franke worked as a Speech Therapist at the Frenchtown Elementary School from 1962 until 1985, at which time she retired due to her health.
- She was preceded in death by her parents, John M. Franke and Ernst and Lillian Peterson. Franke is survived by her husband Donald of Lolo; her son Wade of Seattle, WA; her mother-in-law, Bertha Korman of Hamilton; 2 brothers-in-law, Larry Korman of Hamilton and Rob Korman and wife Gwen of Missoula; sister-in-law, Della Johnson and husband Larry of Boise, ID and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
