Genevieve (Genny) S. Hall

HAMILTON - Genevieve S. Hall, 92, of Hamilton, Mt., passed away at her home on Sunday, August 9th, 2009.

She was born Genevieve Stewart, the 3rd of 6 children, on February 13, 1917, in Humboldt, Kansas. Genevieve graduated from the College of Emporia, a small college in South-eastern Ks., with a degree in Music Education. She was an accomplished musician and pianist and sang in the Robert Shaw Chorale in her younger years. Music was a very important part of her life.



She married Arthur J. Hall (now deceased) on June 15, 1941. She had been a long-time resident of Shawnee Mission, KS, Green Valley, AZ, and Tucson, AZ, and finally Hamilton, MT.

Her devotion to the Lord and her display of the fruits of the Spirit in her life were the qualities that distinguished her to family and others that knew her. She was very much loved by all and will be greatly missed. She is survived by a daughter, Rachel Smith, and husband Gary, of Hamilton; a son, Stewart, of Hilo, Hawaii; a son, Jim, and wife Barbara, of Florence, OR; grandsons, Lanny, and wife Bahvahnie; Andy, and Brad Smith; granddaughters, Sarah Wyman, and husband, Jim; Jenny and Sara Smith; and two great-granddaughters, Anna and Eva Wyman.
