George "Bill" Neal

George William "Bill" Neal, 81 of Conner passed away April 30th at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
He was born October 4, 1929 in Butte, MT. to the late George Alfred and Ida M. Neal. Bill started 6th grade in Darby schools in 1941 and graduated from Darby High School in 1947.
On April 17, 1951 Bill married Buna Kerns in Reno, Nevada. The couple just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Alan Neal.
He is survived by his wife Bunny of Conner; son, Nathan Dowdy of Victor, MT.; daughter, Judy Neal of Wenatchee, WA.; son, Jim (Wendy) Neal of Missoula, MT.; son, Guy (Jolene) Neal of Portland, OR.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Masonic graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5th at Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby presented by Ionic Lodge # 38 A.F. and A.M. A reception will follow at the Sula Clubhouse at 2:00 p.m. hosted by the Sula Women's Club. Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.
The family suggests memorials to the Sula Clubhouse or the Shriner's Childrens Hospital.
