Gertude "Trudy" Landwehr

Gertrud (Trudy) A. Landwehr, age 94, passed away January 16th, 2015 from natural causes with her "Montana Family" nearby.
She was born Feb. 24, 1920 in Gossau, St. Gallen, Switzerland. She traveled to the United States in 1958. She married the love of her life, Ludvig (Ludy) Landwehr on September 26, 1959 in Calumet City, WI. They moved to Portland Oregon and lived there until 1965. They then went to Twin Falls, Idaho where Ludy had a Chiropractic practice and Trudy worked in the office. They lived there until 2000 when they moved to Corvallis, Montana. She continued to live there after Ludy's death in 2013 until this last summer when Trudy went to Meadowlark Haven Assisted Living. Trudy loved the outdoors and was an accomplished painter. A celebration of her life will be held at Daly-Leach Chapel on Thursday, January 22nd, 2015 at 2:00 P.M.
