Glennie B. Paisley, 96 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Bee Hive Homes in Hamilton of natural causes.
Glennie was born in Denver, CO but moved to South Gate, CA with her Mother as a child where she was raised until she married her husband Pat Paisley in 1949. They had 2 children and moved shortly thereafter to Chico in northern CA where they raised their family and operated their own business for the next 43 years. Glennie was a Homemaker, a Bookkeeper by profession, a lifetime member of the Lutheran church, had a deep love of animals (especially dogs), loved to dance, loved all outdoor activities like camping, skiing, hiking, golfing, and in the later years she and Pat loved travelling the USA and beyond in their motor home with friends. They fell in love with Montana and left Chico in 1996 to retire in The Bitterroot Valley settling in Darby, MT where Glennie remained in their home, even after her Husband of 55 years passed away in 2005. When Glennie made the decision she needed assisted living, her desire was to stay in Montana to remain close to her church family and friends. She moved into the Parker House at BeeHive Homes in Hamilton, MT in July 2020, where she lived until her passing. She was predeceased by her Husband Charles Patrick “Pat” Paisley, and her Son, Stephen Patrick Paisley. She is survived by her Daughter and Son in law, Linda and Tom Tolson of Woodland, CA, 2 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Linda and Tom will not be having a memorial service, and have scattered Glennie’s ashes with her Husband Pat’s. In lieu of flowers, please just take a walk or a hike and offer a prayer of thanks for the ways Glennie may have touched your life and pay it forward. Linda and Tom want to acknowledge and say a Big THANK YOU to everyone at BeeHive Homes, and the Parker House team in particular, for the exceptional care and accommodations they provided, going above and beyond assisted living care to embrace Glennie fully into their hearts as one of their own. We are forever Grateful.
