Glynnell Reed

Hamilton – Glynnell Reed, 89 of Hamilton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at her home in Hamilton.

She was born October 9, 1931 in Dalhart, Texas the daughter of the late William A. and Georgie Robertson Reed.  Glynnell graduated from the University of Montana in 1991 with a degree in Social Work.  She enjoyed working with children at church, and doing puppet shows. She loved spending time with family and swimming, camping and riding horses in the Bitterroot Mountettes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ski Reed, Cliff Reed, Bob Reed and Jack Reed; sisters, Baby Roseanne, Ruthie Breeding, Barbara Kline and Lou Weathers.

She is survived by her children, Janet Bigelow of Helena, Carol Brown of Stevensville, Bobbi Roe, Gary Roe both of Hamilton; brother, Howard Reed; sister, Lynda Fleming; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 18th at Grantsdale Cemetery off of Sleeping Child Road in Hamilton.  A reception will follow at the family’s home at 316 Skalkaho Highway.
