Harvey "Tom" Dodd

HAMILTON " Harvey "Tom" Dodd, 84, of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center. He was born November 24, 1925 in Plains, KS the son of Robert and Flora (Rhinies) Dodd.

After graduating from high school, Tom enlisted into the US Navy and served as a Seaman First Class until his honorable discharge in 1946. Tom married Lillie K. Duvall of Liberal, KS and they later divorced. He loved fishing, hunting and raising horses.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Roy Smith; and 2 sisters, Leona Bullard and Audrey Jarvis. He is survived by his son Mike Dodd and wife Marilyn of Hamilton; grandchildren, Sean Dodd and wife Kerry and their children Emma and Jessie Dodd all of Jacksonville, FL and Shane Dodd of Hamilton; his brother, Robert Dodd of Woodward, OK; and his sister, Billie House and husband Bill of Liberal, KS.
