Helen Colson Laws

Helen went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 15, 2023 while a resident at the Sapphire Homes in Hamilton, Montana.

She leaves a daughter Debra Bisant, a son Larry Colson, and families. Her death was preceded by husbands Lloyd Colson (1954-1996) and Gilbert Laws (2007-2015.) Helen was born on December 14, 1933, Helen Patrick, in Kiefer, Oklahoma at her grandmother's home. She grew up with three brothers in a hardworking family.

After her marriage to Lloyd Colson, she quickly adapted to raising her own family in the Lakewood, Colorado area, then back to rural life near Lewellen, Nebraska where she married Gib Laws.

Traveling to see her six grandsons was a joy as was enjoying time with her three great grandchildren. She was able to attend their many graduations and weddings. Adventures and memories she made with all her dear friends were precious to her. Making friends wherever she lived and being actively involved in the body of Christ came easily to Helen. She is missed by those who knew her.

The family would like to thank both the Hospice group and staff at the Sapphire Homes in Hamilton, Montana for the excellent care they gave Helen during her last days. Helen passed away in peace and is Home.
