Helen F. Van Sickle

HAMILTON - Helen F. Van Sickle, 84, of Hamilton passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center. She was born February 21, 1928 in Forsyth, MT.
Helen was raised and educated in Forsyth. She married David J. Van Sickle in February of 1946. Helen traveled extensively with David as a military wife. After David retired from the United States Air Force they continued to travel with his Department of Defense Career. Together they lived in Bowie, Maryland from 1967 until 1991 before retiring to Hamilton.
Helen was a member of the Eastern Star. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting, sewing clothing of her own design and passing the love of cooking to her children.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Beatrice; and 2 brothers, Donald and Aubrey. She is survived by her beloved husband, David, of Hamilton; 3 children, Marilyn Oestereich and husband William of York, PA, Philip Van Sickle and wife Bella of Bowie, MD and Carol Agpaoa and husband Tony of Hamilton; 2 brothers, John of California and Robert of Victor; 2 sisters, Rosalyn of Hardin and Saundra of California; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
