Born Ila Joan Van Dover to Curtiss and Jane Van Dover on July 27, 1941 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Ila went home to be with her Lord, Jesus, on Sunday August 20, 2923. She married Joseph R. Deppe in 1963 who preceded her in death in 2021. Ila was also preceded in death by her son, Joseph Kevin Deppe. Ila is survived sons Michael D. Deppe, Christopher A. Deppe, daughter-in-law Erin Deppe, grandson Zac, his wife Brianna and their children Hayden, Bradley and Carson. Ila is also survived by granddaughter Vayda and her daughter Logan.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Daly-Leach Chapel with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery.  There will be a reception following the services in the funeral home's community room.
