Irene Lucille Jones

HAMILTON - Irene Lucille Jones, 92, of Hamilton passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at her home. She was born September 19, 1918 in Columbus, MT the daughter of Elmer Cruse and Nona (Lewellen) Martin. Irene was raised and educated in California and graduated from high school in Chico, CA.

On June 11, 1938 Irene married Fred Jones in Walla Walla, WA. Her career was spent at home taking care of her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she was a loyal and loving friend to many.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jones; and 3 children, Janice Vogt, Darla Keen and Fred Jones. She is survived by her brother, Calvin Martin; her daughter, Sharon Keen and husband Art; son-in-law, Melvin Vogt; grandchildren, Ronda Keen Ross and husband Donald, Art Keen and wife Kyoung, Mark Keen and wife Carmen, Jay Vogt and wife Denise, Sharla Smith and husband John, and Joel Vogt; and 11 great-grandchildren.
