HAMILTON – Irvin Wayne “Bud” Thompson, 85, of Hamilton passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at home. He was born January 18, 1936 in Hamilton the son of Lester Irvin and Flora Grace Thompson.
Bud was raised and educated in Darby and graduated from Darby High School. He was a member of the Hamilton Elks Lodge and the Hamilton Eagles Lodge. Bud enjoyed four wheeling and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, 1 sister and his wife, Jean. Bud is survived by 4 sons, Brian Thompson of Helena, Dan (Lennette) Thompson of Corvallis, Monte Thompson of Centerville, ID and Brad Thompson of Hamilton; and 2 sisters, Deanne Dixon and Thea McKinney both of Salt Lake City, UT.
Private services will be held and interment will take place in Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
