Jack F. Dodson

VICTOR - Jack F. Dodson, 80, of Victor passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the family home. He was born June 10, 1933 in Los Angeles, CA the son of Jack and Ione Dodson.

Jack graduated high school in Big Bear, CA and then attended a trade school to become an electrician. He married Barbara Dickenson in 1969.

He was an amazing handyman that could fix anything and spent time dumpster diving and going to second hand stores. He loved fishing and camping with family. He spent several years traveling with his loving wife, Barbara, down south.

Jack served in the U.S Navy during the Korean War. He had a career at Alcoa in Los Angeles, CA where he was an electrician.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ione Dodson; brother, Jim; nephew, Keith; niece, Cheryl, and brother-in-law, Larry Wilfley.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; sons, Steve (June), Ron (Sue), Bob, and Kenny; daughters, Karen (Steve) and Lynda (Ken); sister, Marylou (Earl); grandchildren, Daniel, Larissa, Ross, and Tara; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Daren and Tori.

Services for Jack will be held later this summer.
