Jack E. Isaacs

CORVALLIS - Jack E. Isaacs, 64, of Corvallis passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center. He was born April 17, 1950 in Kalispell, MT the son of Richard Dean and Doris Anita (Brinninger) Isaacs.
Jack was raised and educated in Kalispell through the 7th grade. He then moved to Missoula and later graduated from Sentinel High School in 1968. Jack enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1969 and served until his honorable discharge in 1971. Upon returning to Missoula he began working at the Dept. of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) and began attending the University of Montana. He later earned his Bachelors Degree in Forestry and began working for the DNRC full time. Jack retired in November of 2002 after 32 years of service. During his career he lived in Missoula, Kalispell and Plains.
Jack married Linda Davidson on October 12, 2002 in Coeur d' Alene, ID and together they lived in Polson until moving to the Bitterroot Valley in 2011. Jack spent much of his retirement doing what he loved, fishing. He also enjoyed collecting coins and knives and refinishing furniture.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Dean Robert Isaacs. He is survived by his wife, Linda, of Corvallis; 2 sons, Scott Isaacs and wife Janet of Corvallis and Justin Isaacs and wife Laura of Kalispell; his daughter, Lisa Agnew and husband Zach of Bremerton, WA; 4 grandchildren, Ashley, Aspen, Alex and Carter Isaacs; his sister, Lonnie Woll of Kalispell; 3 step-children, Nick and Chris Wroble and Jana (Wroble) Roe; 5 step-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
