James Alex (Jim) Tanasse, 70, of Corvallis passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at his home of natural causes. He was born June 9, 1942 in Yakima, WA the son of Alex Joseph and Golda Molly (Pierce) Tanasse.
- Jim graduated from Highline High School, the class of 1961, in Burien, WA before attending college. Jim was a natural, successful sales person, owning his own beer distributorship. He loved to read, study and socialize. Jim was loved by many and made new friends wherever he went.
- Jim was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Delta and Jeanie; and his son, Michael Tanasse. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Christine M. and Joseph Aguirre of Twin Falls, ID; his wife, Karen Greene of Corvallis; his brothers, Bill and Gregg Tanasse and Albin Jr, Chuck, Doug and Robert Lendberg; his sister, Dorothy Iaanucci; grandchildren, Brianna, Jessica, Emily Jo and Hannah; and numerous step-grandchildren that loved him.
- A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Jim Connor as Celebrant. There will be a reception following the services at the Eagles Lodge, 125 N. 2nd St. in Hamilton.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Jim's name to St. Francis Catholic Church, 411 S. 5th St., Hamilton, MT 59840.
