Janet (Janette) Pauline Miller was born January 13, 1920 on a remote homestead in Garfield County, 50 miles NE of Jordan, MT. Her parents were Richard and Clara Miller of Haxby, MT. The oldest of five children, she grew up in a log home on the Miller homestead.
In 1939, Janet married Harvey Keith Glasspoole, a Fort Peck dam construction worker and career Navy air. The couple raised several foster children and lived at various military bases. During the early 1960s, the family was stationed on the Naval Base at GuantA
