Janet M. Townsend

Janet M. Townsend, 67 of Hamilton passed away June 25, 2014 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
Janet was born December 7, 1946 in Indio, California to Jack and Janet (Lorraine) Rothwill. She graduated from Colton High School in Colton, California. Jan worked for Auto Club of Southern California for over 15 years. She then worked as an assistant in the emergency room at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for a number of years, which was her favorite job. She was forced into retirement as a result of an on the job injury and then moved to Hamilton.
Janet was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Janet; brother, James Michael and sisters, Jill and Jocelyn.
Janet is survived by her two sons, Tom Townsend of Glendora, CA and Don Townsend of Hamilton, MT.
No public services are scheduled. Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.
