Janice Marie Garfield

Janice Marie Garfield, 79, passed away on November 28, 2025, at her daughter's home in Ocean Shores, Washington. Her Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton, Montana.

Janice was born into a loving, Christian home in Los Angeles, California, in 1946. She was an ‘April Fools Baby,’ born on April 1st. Her family fostered over 50 newborn children. Janice graduated from Whittier Christian High School, and started work at Beckman Instruments in Brea, California. Janice met Garry a short time later, who also worked at Beckman Instruments. They were married a year later on June 1, 1968. Janice and Garry moved to Fullerton where they welcomed their son, Garry Jr., in 1973, and their daughter, Sheila, in 1975. Janice and her family moved to Hamilton, Montana, in 1987, where she fell in love with the Bitterroot Mountains. After Garry’s retirement from Beckman in 1991, Janice and Garry enjoyed visiting with family and friends while living in Hamilton.

Janice is survived by her son, Garry Jr (and Heather), her daughter, Sheila (and Mark), 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
